The experiment was rather interesting. My final weight was about 245. This is about 25 pounds over the month. I thin that this worked well. The upside was the speed of loss. The downside was the inability to perform strenuous exercise. When you are training for a PT test you need to perform. The addition of the meals helped offset that. For a completely sedentary individual I think juice fasting is worth consideration. Interestingly, I lost more weight from my neck than my waist. This led to my company commander believing that I was making insufficient progress based on how the Army calculates body fat. I now get the pleasure of mandatory PT at 0445 every morning. When combined with the rest of my schedule this makes for a challenging month ahead. Now you can follow me on my Whole 30!
